In lumine lunae (Acoustic Sessions)

After the release of In lumine lunae, the project Viamaer returns to its essence in the most raw and intimate form. Acoustic Sessions is neither an add-on nor an alternative version; it is a conscious return to the starting point. To the emotions before production. To the compositions in their bare state.

The tracks known from the original album have been reinterpreted in acoustic -instrumental form. No distortion, no layered production, no weighty sound. With space. With breath. With silence, which becomes an equally important element of the narrative.

In lumine lunae (Acoustic Sessions) reveals the structure and emotional core of the compositions. It is the same story, but told closer, more directly, without filters and without excess.

Krystian describes it this way:
These compositions were born in silence and return to silence. Without weight. Without excess.
In the acoustic versions, there is nowhere to hide, only what is real remains.
Sound does not lie.

“Sonus est locus ubi affectus vere audiuntur.”
Sound is the place where emotions are truly heard.

This version is a mirror of the original album, more focused, more direct, sometimes even intimate. The same story told in a different language.

Tracklist

  1. In excitatione terrae

This track is about a moment of awakening and sudden change. Something that was dormant comes to the surface and takes control. Old structures collapse, and what emerges is stronger and more conscious. There is no nostalgia for what came before. This is the beginning of something new, even if it is born out of destruction.

  2. In lumine lunae

This track is about searching for answers and finding them quietly, almost unnoticed. It is not about revelation, but about understanding that arrives on its own once you stop resisting it. The light of the moon becomes a symbol of a moment when everything begins to make sense and falls into place.

  3. Liberum arbitrium

A track about free will and regaining control over oneself. About resisting what tries to impose decisions and ways of thinking. It is the moment when responsibility returns to my own hands, and the mind and soul stop being dependent on external influence.

  4. Smaragdus somnium

An instrumental and deeply personal piece. It carries a sense of inner shift and introspection, shaped more by emotion than structure. The track exists as a state rather than a statement, marking a moment of change that resonates throughout the album.
